ORGANIC DECAFFEINATION PROCESS

We use an organic CO2 process called “effervescence” to decaffeinate our teas. The tea is placed in a pressurized chamber, where Carbon Dioxide – a non-toxic, non-flammable, colorless, and odorless inert gas – locks onto, and removes the caffeine. Unlike other methods, this process maintains levels of antioxidants, healthy nutrients, and the flavor of pure tea, leaving no trace of chemicals or potentially-harmful solvents on the leaves.
